Can i get my stolen Gps System back?
yea im stupid. dont need to hear it lol
anyways. today was my first day using my very brand new garmin nuvi 265t and it got stolen!
AND MY WINDOW GOT SMASHED! ugh!
called the police.
the got a fingerprint.. that print could easily be someone in my family. (not very credible)
luckily the box was in the car. (cuz i unboxed the system in the car..)
so i gave the police the serial number.
the gps system is not yet registered either.
can garmin track the gps system down?
communicate it to the police..
and i get it back?
or at least have garmin ship me a new one!
ive heard that gps systems only recieve satellite, not transmit any. so theyre untrackable.. but idk that doesnt sound right… police told me it could be found. but its not like the police is a technician ha
It is possible to track it now, but no the gps company will not send you a new one most likely because that wasn’t the company’s fault. You can call the gps maker and see if it can be tracked.
